Rick Reeder

ALB Founder

After 30 years in high tech Rick Reeder transitioned into real estate and is now a broker and the owner of Layer 3 Real Estate in Austin. As the founder of African Leadership Bridge, he has served on several non-profit boards, including as president of the Austin Affiliate of Susan G Komen for the Cure and board member of Austin Classical Guitar. Rick says he is the lucky recipient of all the “unearned advantages” a person could hope for and dedicates significant time to paying-it-forward.

Natasha Campbell-Cross

Board President

Natasha earned degrees in Communications and Photographic Technology from the St. Edwards University in Austin and has over 18 years experience in Marketing, focusing on Operations, Technology and Production. Her interest in diverse cultures and study of languages led to career opportunities in Germany, France and the U.S. where she brings a deep background in building and supporting Global teams. After attending a SXSW panel discussion on “Ubuntu Leadership” Natasha found her passion for the African continent reflected in ALBs mission, and has been an active member within the organization since 2013.

Rudi Ngnepi

Board Vice President

Rudi Ngnepi earned bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and has12 years of industry experience working for National Instruments, a technology leader in the Test and Measurement space. With a passion for entrepreneurship and talent development, Rudi co-founded a branch of National Instruments’ Planet NI program to focus on Africa. He drove public and private partnerships, developed global mentorship models, all geared to enable individuals to solve local challenges.

Diana Ayoub

Board Treasurer

Diana is an Economist at the World Bank. Before the World Bank, she worked as a senior consultant at Deloitte and as a investment associate at Flourish Ventures. Diana holds a Master’s Degree in International Development (MPAID) from the Harvard Kennedy School and an MBA from MIT Sloan. She also completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin with a focus on Finance and Economics.

Arinze Nwagbata

Board Secretary

Arinze is a Medical Student at Harvard Medical School and a Business Student at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. He is the founder of the Hold a Hand Project, a dynamic initiative in partnership with ALB. This collaborative effort provides invaluable mentorship and essential financial support to college students who are emerging community leaders in Southeastern Nigeria.

John Kidenda

Board Member

John is the Chief of Utility Operations at PowerGen Renewable Energy. Before joining PowerGen, John was a Senior Consultant at Dalberg and an Associate Director at The Advisory Board Company (ABC). He holds a master’s degree in Public Administration in International Development (MPAID) from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Yves Mafolo

Board Member

Yves graduated at the top of his class from the Spears School of Business at Oaklahoma State University in 2014.
